As her daughter, I saw someone who was rediscovering a part of herself she hadn’t touched in decades. Somewhere between nervous laughter, forgotten gear shifts, and trying to explain the basics again, I realized how surreal the moment actually was.
The same person who once rode motorcycles while carrying me in her belly, was now revisiting that version of herself by hopping on my 2004 Kawasaki ZX10R.
I saw someone who was determined, fearless, present and fully savouring the moment.
I didn’t think much of it then. After all, we’re always capturing sacred family moments but this time, I couldn’t help but share it with you on Sunday, Mother’s Day.
