Some of the best rides don’t always go exactly as planned.
The day began with the Throttle Barbies & Kens Summer Group Ride meetup in St. Petersburg, bringing together riders from across the area for a day on twos. After a mechanical issue prevented the founder from riding her sport bike to the meetup location, the day took a different direction. I ultimately joined a separate group ride led by Malcolm, who mapped out the route for a group of riders eager to hit the road together at a different pace.
What followed was more than just a scenic ride—it was a reminder of why the motorcycle community is so special.
Along the way, we met riders from different backgrounds, including a fellow ZX-10R owner who shared why he prefers riding toward the back of the pack to maintain a safer following distance. We also had the chance to meet Tiffany the Stunt Queen, whose impressive motorcycle skills and positive attitude made her one of the standout personalities of the day.
This ride wasn’t just about the destination. It was about the conversations, the people, and the shared passion that brings riders together.
